• Indiana (16-8, 7-7) lost at No. 17/17 Michigan State (18-6, 9-4), 76-61, on Saturday afternoon at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich.

• Indiana got 20 points from its bench.

• Indiana's defense forced Michigan State to commit 15 turnovers.

• The Hoosiers scored 16 points off Michigan State turnovers.

• The Hoosiers will be back in Bloomington on Feb. 15 for a 9 p.m. game vs. No. 14/14 Wisconsin in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

• Junior/Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis led the team with 17 points, five rebounds, and two assists.

• After today's performance, Jackson-Davis now ranks No. 25 in Indiana All-Time Scoring List with 1,370 career points scored.

• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Race Thompson scored 13 points on five-of-10 shooting while grabbing a career-high 14 rebounds.

• This was Thompson's eighth career double-double and the 13th double-figure rebounding game of his career.

• Freshman Tamar Bates tied his single-game season and career-high of 13 points. Bates also had two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

• This was Bates' second time in Big Ten play scoring in double-figures and it was his best scoring effort since the Merrimack game when he had seven points.

• Senior/Junior Xavier Johnson chipped in seven points and four assists.

• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Parker Stewart had four points, three assists, and two rebounds.

• Senior/Junior Miller Kopp registered three points and two rebounds.

• Sophomore/Freshman Jordan Geronimo had three points and three rebounds.

• Sophomore/Freshman Trey Galloway made his second consecutive start while recording a point and three assists.

• Senior/Junior Michael Durr had one rebound in two minutes of play.

• Freshman Logan Duncomb checked in the game for two minutes.

• Sophomore/Freshman Anthony Leal got one minute of action off the bench.

• Sophomore/Freshman Khristian Lander registered one minute on the court.
