"Give Nebraska a tremendous amount of credit tonight. They made it tough on both sides. I thought offensively, they were super aggressive off the bounce. We didn't do a good enough job at being able to keep our man in front of us throughout the night and then defensively, we were trying to get them into a lot of plug scenarios and really try to go at their bigs and it just seemed like there was no place for our guards to go. Then we had to rely on outside shooting and or short jump shots and missed way too many layups. I thought we had some good looks; they just didn't go down and unfortunately you have those nights. But we really needed our defense to be great for us against a team that obviously is good, talented as any team in the league. Disappointed, for sure, but we have to lick our wounds quicky, get back home and get ready for Northwestern."

KEY MOMENTS
- Indiana (18-4, 10-2 B1G) led 8-5 at the media timeout with Patberg leading the way with 4 points but it would be part of an 8-0 run for Nebraska as it tied the game up. The two teams would go back-and-forth for the latter part of the quarter, as Nebraska built a four-point lead with 1:48 to go.
- A second chance opportunity got sophomore guard Chloe Moore-McNeil an attack at the rim and Cardaño-Hillary fought through the action to connect on jumper just inside the paint.
- Moore-McNeil capitalized off a Cardaño-Hillary steal but Nebraska's Sam Haiby had the last bucket of the quarter to tie things up at 18-all.
- Six lead changes and two ties highlighted the second quarter as Nebraska took a five-point lead two minutes in.
- Tied at 26-all with 4:45 left before halftime, Indiana fell into a shooting slump, not scoring for the remainder of the quarter as Nebraska took a 34-26 lead.
- Indiana trailed by as many as 12 in the third quarter but made a push at the Huskers on its own 7-0 run to head to the final period down by just four, 50-46.
- But offense once again stalled in the fourth, as the Hoosier sat with a single point until 2:27 remaining and scored just eight to cap the game.
NOTABLE
- Berger led the way with 20 points on 9-for-15 shooting.
- Cardaño-Hillary and Gulbe each added 10 points while Gulbe and graduate student guard Ali Patberg tied for a team-high seven rebounds.
- Indiana shot a season-low 31.9 percent from the field in the loss and connected on just two 3-pointers on the evening.
- It also got out-rebounded, 48-40, and shot just 53.8 percent at the free throw line.
