
Indiana Wrestling Falls to Chattanooga in Final Regular Season Dual

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– In its final regular season dual, Indiana Wrestling lost to Chattanooga, 21-15, on Sunday afternoon in Wilkinson Hall. The loss puts the Hoosiers' record at 3-8 on the season.
KEY MOMENTS
• Indiana's six graduating wrestlers: Brock Hudkins, Paul Konrath, Sammy Cokeley, Diego Lemley, Garrett Hoffman, and Jonathan Moran were all honored prior to the dual as part of senior day.
• At halftime of the meet, Indiana's program alumni were welcomed and honored at the mat as part of Alumni Day celebrations.
• Indiana got off to a hot start when sophomore Jacob Moran (125) and graduate student Brock Hudkins (133) each picked up a victory in the first two bouts of the day. Both wins were over ranked opponents.
• Moran defeated No. 22 Fabian Gutierrez by a 6-5 decision.
• Hudkins took down No. 19 Brayden Palmer in a 5-3 decision.
• In his first appearance since the Purdue meet, redshirt sophomore Donnell Washington (184) easily defeated Thomas Sell via a major decision and 20-8 margin.
• Junior Jacob Bullock (285) dominated Matthias Ervin, earning a tech fall victory by a score of 16-0.

• Moran's win marked his 10th victory of the season and improved his season record to 10-9.
• The win for Hudkins gave him his 11th win of the season and puts him at 11-2 for the year.
• In his second win by major decision of the year, Washington now has a 13-3 mark for the year.
• The 16-0 tech fall win for Bullock was the junior's first win by tech fall all year and it improved his season record to 10-8.
