• Indiana (16-10, 7-9) lost to No. 22/19 Ohio State (17-7, 10-5), 80-69, in overtime, on Monday night at the Schottenstein in Columbus, Ohio.
• Indiana's defense forced Ohio State to shoot 31.6% (six-of-19) from the 3-point line.
• Indiana's defense didn't allow Ohio State to make a field goal for over six minutes from the 15:04 to 8:38 mark in the second half.
• Indiana got 11 points off 12 Ohio State turnovers.
• The Hoosiers scored 17 second chance points.
• Indiana had 15 offensive rebounds.
• In their next game, the Hoosiers will be back in Bloomington for a game against Maryland on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Senior/Junior Xavier Johnson led Indiana with 16 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two steals.
• Johnson was 10-of-10 from the free throw line. This was the best free throw shooting performance from an Indiana player since Al Durham went 10-of-10 from the free throw line against Rutgers in the 2018 Big Ten Tournament.
• Johnson is one of seven active players in Division I to have 1,400 points, 400 rebounds, 500 assists, and 150 steals in their careers.
• Johnson joins Jacob Gilyard (Richmond), Marreon Jackson (Arizona State), Kevin Johnson (UIC), Fatts Russell (Maryland), R.J. Cole (UConn), and Remy Martin (Kansas) on the list of other active players to accomplish the feat.
• Junior/Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis had 13 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
• After tonight's performance, Jackson-Davis is now tied for 21st on Indiana's all-time scoring list as both him and Robert Johnson have 1,413 career points.
• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Race Thompson scored 13 points on six-of-12 shooting from the field along with nine rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.
• Tonight's performance marked 20 consecutive games where Thompson scored at least nine points and seven straight games where Thompson has scored in double-figures.
• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Parker Stewart contributed 11 points on three-of-four shooting from the 3-point line with three rebounds as well.
• Senior/Junior Miller Kopp had seven points and three rebounds.
• Freshman Tamar Bates registered seven points and five rebounds.
• Sophomore/Freshman Jordan Geronimo scored two points on the night.
• Sophomore/Freshman Anthony Leal had two assists and one rebound for the game.
• Senior/Junior Michael Durr got nine minutes of action off the bench.
