TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Hoosiers (3-3) started the day with an 8-4 win over Hofstra and fell 9-0 against No. 3 Florida State on day one of the Unconquered Invitational.

Game 1: Indiana 8, Hofstra 4
Key Moments
• Grayson Radcliffe hit a home run to center in the bottom of the first inning to put the Hoosiers up 1-0.
• In the bottom of the second inning Brianne Copeland reached second on an error and Brooke Benson drove in a run with an RBI double.
• The Hoosiers scored two runs in the third, on an RBI single by Sarah Stone and sacrifice fly by Grace Lorsung that scored Cora Bassett.
• Heather Johnson came into the came to replace Copeland in the fifth and struck out her first three batters.
• Sarah Stone's RBI double helped the Hoosiers extend their lead to 8-1 in the fifth inning.

Notes
• The home run by Radcliffe was her first of the season and 19^th of her career.
• Brianne Copeland retired the first 10 batters she faced, striking out six of seven in a span from the second to fourth inning.
• Grayson Radcliffe tallied three runs, two hits and two RBI in addition to her home run.
• Freshman Sarah Stone recorded two hits and three RBI.
• The Hoosiers pitching staff recorded 15 strikeouts. Nine of the strikeouts came from freshman Brianna Copeland while six came from freshman Heather Johnson.
• As a team Indiana had four stolen bases. Grayson Radcliffe stole two bases and Brooke Benson and Tatum Hayes each had one stolen base.
• Copeland recorded the win and Heather Johnson recorded the save for the Hoosiers.

Game 2: Florida State 9, Indiana 0
Key Moments
• Florida State got the scoring started with three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning.
• The Seminoles scored six runs in the fourth inning.
• Cora Bassett singled to lead off the fourth inning for Indiana.
• Sarah Stone doubled to lead off the fifth inning for the Hoosiers.
Notes
• Stone is batting .400 with six hits on the season.
• Bassett recorded her fifth hit of the season.
