TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – After a 9-0 loss yesterday against No. 3 Florida State, the Hoosiers (4-4) carried a 1-0 lead into the sixth inning, but couldn't close the door in a 3-1 loss to the Seminoles. Earlier in the day Indiana won 4-0 against Hofstra.

Game 1: Indiana 4, Hofstra 0
Key Moments
• Cora Bassett hit a line drive to right field that got past the Hofstra outfielder. Bassett came all the way home for the inside the park home run that put the Hoosiers up 1-0 after the top half of the first inning.
• In the third inning Brittany Ford doubled and Abby Meeks came in to run for her. Juvia Davis hit a bloop single that scored Meeks and put the Hoosiers up 3-0.

Notes
• The home run for Bassett was her second of the season.
• Macy Montgomery pitched a complete game for the win.
• Juvia Davis tallied two hits and two stolen bases.

Game 2: Florida State 3, Indiana 1
Key Moments
• Cora Bassett reached second in the first inning when a FSU outfielder lost a ball in the sun. The Hoosiers put runners on first and second after Grayson Radcliffe was hit by a pitch.
• In the bottom of the third the Hoosiers threw out an FSU runner going for a triple, to end the inning.
• In the fourth inning Grace Lorsung was hit by a pitch, Tatum Hayes came in to pinch run and stole second and Lindsey Warick drove in Hayes to put the Hoosiers up 1-0.
• Florida State scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Notes
• Heather Johnson made her first career start and retired 15 of the 20 batters she faced. Johnson tallied four strikeouts in the game.
• Indiana had four hits against Florida State including doubles by Cora Bassett and Brittany Ford.
• Grayson Radcliffe and Tatum Hayes recorded stolen bases for the Hoosiers.
