
Brathwaite Heads to 2022 Indoor World Championships

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The 2022 Indoor World Athletics Championships will commence in Belgrade, Serbia this weekend as Rikkoi Brathwaite of Indiana Track & Field is set to compete for his home country of the British Virgin Islands.
Competing in the 60m, Brathwaite is seeded fourth with a time of 6.52. His time of 6.52 was set this past weekend at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships where he secured the silver medal along with a personal and Big Ten Record. He also improved on his school record.
Brathwaite is a two-time First Team All-American and All-Big Ten First Team Honoree. During the 2021 indoor season, he earned Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year accolades.

60m (Semi-Final) – Saturday March 18 at 1:40 p.m. ET
60m (Final) – Saturday March 18 at 4:20 p.m. ET
