Indiana Wrestling Finishes Season at NCAA Championships

DETROIT, Mich. –––– Indiana Wrestling closed out their season on Friday morning at the NCAA Wrestling Championships at Little Caesars Arena.

Graduate student and No. 13 seed Brock Hudkins (133) and redshirt sophomore and No. 26 seed Donnell Washington (184) each wrestled in two bouts on Thursday. Hudkins would have participated in a third match in the second round of the consolation bracket on Friday morning but had to withdraw from competition due to injury.

KEY MOMENTS

Hudkins won his first bout over No. 20 seed Chance Rich of California State Bakersfield in an 8-3 decision.
The win marked Hudkins' fifth victory in his career at the NCAA Championships.
This was Hudkins' third appearance in the NCAA Championships and his first time as an Indiana wrestler. The previous two were with Northern Illinois.
This was Washington's second appearance as an NCAA qualifier.
