OKLAHOMA CITY – Cora Bassett homered twice as the Indiana softball picked up an 8-5 win against Houston. In game two the Hoosiers fell 15-1 against No. 1 Oklahoma.

Game 1: Indiana: 8, Houston 5
Key Moments
• After giving up two runs in the top half of the first innings, Cora Bassett cut the defecit in half with a solo home run in the bottom half of the inning.
• Brooke Benson homered in the second inning to put the Hoosiers up 3-2.
• Houston scored two runs in the fifth inning to go ahead 5-4.
• The Hoosiers answered in the bottom half of the fifth with three runs to go up 7-5.
• Indiana added another run on Bassett's second home run of the day to go up 8-5.

Notes
• Bassett now has seven home runs on the season.
• The home run by Benson was her first of the season. The Benson home run came with two outs.
• In the Hoosiers last five games they have scored 12 runs with two outs.
• Macy Montgomery got the win for the Hoosiers and improved to 4-2 on the season.
• Tatum Hayes stole her team leading and Big Ten leading 13^th stolen base of the season.
• Bassett and Benson each had multi-hit games with two hits each.

Game 2: No. 1 Oklahoma 15, Indiana 1
Key Moments
• The Hoosiers had a pair of singles in the first inning, but left them on base.
• Jocelyn Alo, who last week set the NCAA record for career home runs homered in the first to put Oklahoma up 2-0. The home run was her 97^th career home run.
• Sarah Stone hit a home run in the fifth inning for the Hoosiers.

Notes
• The Hoosiers dropped to 13-6 on the season while Oklahoma improved to 22-0.
• It was the 18^th time this season Oklahoma has run ruled an opponent.
• Cora Bassett recorded hits for the Hoosiers.
• The home run for Stone was her second of the season.
• The Stone home run is only the fourth home run Oklahoma has given up this season.
