
Hoosiers Secure Victories over Sam Houston State, Iowa

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Indiana softball team earned two wins and IU head coach Shonda Stanton won her 700th career game as the Hoosiers (15-6) captured a 2-0 win over Sam Houston State and 8-4 win over Iowa on Saturday.
Game 1: Indiana: 2, Sam Houston State 0
Key Moments
• Brianna Copeland doubled to left in the fourth inning and drove in Grayson Radcliffe to put the Hoosiers up 1-0.
• In the sixth inning Radcliffe homered to left center to give the Hoosiers a 2-0 lead.
Notes
• The home run by Radcliffe was her second of the season.
• The RBI double by Copeland came with two outs. The Hoosiers have now scored 13 runs with two outs over their last six games.
• Macy Montgomery pitched 6.1 innings to pick up her fifth win of the season. Heather Johnson came in and recorded the save.
• Radcliffe and Copeland each recorded two hits for the Hoosiers.
