BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team took down Illinois State 4-0 on Friday at the IU Tennis Center.

In their match against the Illinois State Red Birds, the Hoosiers (5-5) started off strongly, winning the doubles point at No. 2 and No. 3 with No.1 almost winning the set as well.

The Hoosiers only allowed three total games in the doubles competition.

Patrick Fletchall was the first Hoosier to receive a singles point for the men, winning his match 6-1, 6-2.

Shortly after Fletchall's win to put the Hoosiers up 2-0, Carson Haskins (6-1, 6-3) and Vikash Singh (6-0, 6-0) won their sets to finish up the match.

All Hoosiers won their first set, and were looking good to win the second if matches were to be played out.

The Hoosiers, who are now 5-5 and travel to Alabama on Monday to play a tough opponent in the Auburn Tigers who are 11-2 and 8-0 at home.
