LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana Track & Field competed on the first day of the Louisville Invitational which included two event wins for the Hoosiers.

KEY MOMENTS
• Sean Mockler kicked off the night for the Hoosiers in the hammer throw with a heave of 64.05m (210' 1").
• Makayla Hunter followed up it up with another victory for IU. Hunter saw a mark of 44.36m (145' 6") in the javelin.

NOTABLES
• Jayden Ulrich competed in her first collegiate hammer throw competition on Friday. She saw a mark of 43.78m (150' 6").
• Sean Mockler's win in the hammer throw was the first victory for the freshman this outdoor season. It is the fourth of his career.
• With the win in the javelin, this becomes Makayla Hunter's first victory in her collegiate career.
