BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana softball lost 11-2 against RV Louisiana on Wednesday at Andy Mohr Field.

- Louisiana opened up the scoring with a three-run homerun in the first inning.
- Louisiana scored another run in the second to take a 4-0 lead.
- A triple and a double in the third inning led to two more runs for the Ragin Cajuns, stretching the lead to 6-0.
- The Hoosiers opened the bottom of the third with a single by Aaliyah Andrews, followed by a two-run home run from Brooke Benson.
- Louisiana tacked on a pair of runs to take a 8-2 lead after a two-run home run in the fourth.
- A diving grab in left-field by Taylor Minnick led to the runners tagging up and scoring a run for Louisiana. A throwing error, followed by a double with two outs, added another two more runs for the Cajuns.
