
Mandema and Kidd Named All-MPSF

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana placed a pair of players on the All-MPSF teams, announced by the league on Thursday afternoon. Senior center Izzy Mandema earned second team honors while freshman center Skylar Kidd was selected to the newcomer team.
Mandema is closing out her IU career with a place on the second team, following up honorable mention honors as a freshman in 2019. She leads Indiana with 64 total points and a team-high 62 goals. The Atherton, Calif. native has recorded 12 hat tricks this season and is third on the team in steals with 13. She scored a season-high five goals in the win over Ottawa (Arizona). She turned in four hat tricks against MPSF opponents this season.
Kidd earned a spot on the newcomer team after a strong freshman campaign. The Laguna Beach, Calif. is the third newcomer in four years to earn All-MPSF honors for the Hoosiers (Izzy Mandema, 2019 and Kallie White, 2021). Her 47 total points ranks fourth amongst her teammates this season as she is also third in overall goals (31) and third in assists (17). Kidd has five hat tricks this season and had a team-high six points with three assist and three goals against Iona. Her season-high of five goals came in a win over Marist and has won 18 sprints for IU.
#15 Indiana will begin MPSF Tournament play on Friday, April 22 at 3:45 p.m. ET against #3 UCLA.
