BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana softball team kept within two runs through four innings, but a five run fifth inning propelled No.10 Northwestern to a 8-1 win on Friday at Andy Mohr Field.
Key Moments
• Northwestern scored two runs in the first inning to take the lead.
• A home run in the second inning put Northwestern up 3-0.
• Lindsey Warick hit a home run in the bottom on the second inning to put Indiana on the scoreboard.
• Heather Johnson recorded a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the third to maintain the score.
• In the fifth inning Northwestern scored five runs with two home runs to take an 8-1 lead.

• Indiana is now 23-15 and 6-7 in the Big Ten. Northwestern is 32-7 and 13-2 in Big Ten play.
• The Hoosiers had four hits and one run in the loss.
• Lindsey Warick's home run was her third of the season. She went 1-2 in the game with one RBI.
