Hoosiers Fall to Maryland in Big Ten Tournament

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Indiana women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 match to No. 60 Maryland in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday.
The Hoosiers (10-15, 3-8) lost the doubles point as Maryland (18-6, 6-5) won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The No. 1 doubles match was 4-3 in favor of Maryland when it was stopped.
Maryland got the first point in singles with a retirement at No. 6 singles and won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles to clinch the match.
Laura Masic won her first set at No. 2 singles for the Hoosiers.
