Indiana Field Hockey Reveals 2022 Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana Field Hockey Head Coach Kayla Bashore has announced the team's 2022 schedule.
The Hoosiers will play 19 games with 11 non-conference matchups and eight Big Ten contests.
Prior to the regular season's start, Indiana will play in two scrimmages ––– one at Ball State on Friday, Aug. 19, and an intersquad Cream/Crimson scrimmage at the IU Field Hockey Complex on Saturday, Aug. 20.
The regular season will begin with two home contests against Kent State and Liberty on Friday, Aug. 26, and Sunday Aug. 28, respectively.
A highlight of the non-conference slate features a west coast trip to California as the Hoosiers will play away games at Stanford, California, and UC Davis over Labor Day weekend.
The Hoosiers will open Big Ten play with a road trip to Iowa on Friday, Sept. 16 before playing their conference home opener against Rutgers on Friday, Sept. 30.
Indiana will close out the regular season with three consecutive home games, culminating with a matchup against Northwestern on Friday, Oct. 28.
The dates and location of the 2022 Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament have not been announced yet.
The opening rounds of the 2022 NCAA Tournament will be played on campus sites with the semi-final and championship rounds being played at the University of Connecticut from Nov. 18-20.
