Bloomington, Indiana – Indiana Senior Assistant Athletic Director for Team Purchasing and Licensing Marty Clark was recently honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) at its annual convention in Las Vegas.
One of the AEMA's highest honors, the Lifetime Achievement Award honors those association members who have shown exceptional dedication and service to the AEMA for at least 15 years. Clark was one of five 2022 honorees, and one of just 31 who have been presented with the award since its inception in 2003.
"Marty has been an integral part of our IU Athletics family for more than three decades and is a very deserving recipient of this prestigious honor," said IU Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Dolson. "I know that it means a great deal to Marty to be recognized in this way by his industry colleagues. Congratulations to Marty on this honor and for being the very best at what he does."
A 1989 graduate of Western Carolina University who also earned a master's from IU in 2006, Clark is in his 33rd year with IU Athletics. He's worked closely with the IU Football program throughout his tenure and was promoted to assistant athletic director for team purchasing and licensing in 2005.
