Luke Sheridan to Wrestle for USA National Team Roster Spot

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Wrestling alum Luke Sheridan will participate in the True Third National Team Wrestle-offs to compete for a spot on USA Wrestling's National Team.
Sheridan, who competes with the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), will face Hadyn Maley (Beaver Dam RTC) in the 97 kg weight class of the Greco-Roman division for the roster spot.
The match will take place prior to Final X New York on June 8 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Quarterfinals:
Luke Sheridan (Army WCAP) def. Brady Vogel (Dubuque Wrestling Club) 9-0, 1:28
Semi-Finals:
Braxton Amos (Wisconsin RTC) def. Luke Sheridan (Army WCAP) 7-4
Sheridan is currently a soldier-athlete with the United States Army's WCAP and All Army Wrestling. He graduated from IU in 2015 and was a two-time NCAA qualifier at 184 lbs.
