BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana men's tennis head coach Jeremy Wurtzman has announced the promotion of Mike Murray to Associate Head Coach. Murray was previously an assistant coach with the program.
Murray is entering his seventh year with the Indiana men's tennis program. In that time the Hoosiers have had six All-Big Ten honorees.
The Hoosiers have signed multiple five-star recruits and their 2022 class is receiving votes among the best classes in the nation.
"Mike has meant so much to this program," Wurtzman said. He is an elite recruiter, promotes team over individual success and comes to the courts with a positive attitude every day. Mike's high standards and integrity sets a great example for our student-athletes to follow. This promotion is very well deserved, and he has earned it since the day he arrived. We are excited to continue the success and build IU tennis into a national powerhouse."

"I am very excited to get to work with the group coming in this fall," Murray said. "Our upperclassmen learned a lot last year and are hungry to get back to work. Our new guys have a lot of ability and will bring some much needed fresh energy to the squad. The season can't start soon enough."Follow Indiana Men's Tennis on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
