Indiana Wrestling Completes 2022 Signing Class

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Wrestling head coach Angel Escobedo has announced the completion of the 2022 signing class.
In addition to the four previously signed incoming freshmen and transfer Clayton Fielden, Indiana Wrestling has added seven more freshmen to finalize the 2022 recruiting class.
The most recent signings include Mason Alley, Magnus Kuokkanen, Liam McDermott, Ben Phillips, Cole Rhemrev, Daniel Sheen and Isaac Thornton.
The class features freshmen from eight different states, including two in-state recruits from Indiana and three grapplers from Illinois.
Of the newcomers, there are wrestlers at seven different weight classes, as well.
The incoming crop of wrestlers includes multiple high school state champions and state-placers. Nine of the incoming freshmen were state champions or state-placers, while Alley and Sheen attended preparatory schools and earned national prep finalist honors.
