Idaho at Indiana

TEAM
• Indiana is 2-0 all-time against Idaho, with the first meeting coming during the 2021 season.
• For just the 30th time in program history and fifth time since 2000, Indiana played its first two games of a season at home. IU has started 2-0 on 19 occasions.
• Head coach Tom Allen is 13-1 all-time against non-conference opponents during the regular season and 8-1 all-time in non-conference home games.
• Allen started 2-0 for the fourth time as head coach (2018-20, 2022).
• Saturday's meeting with Idaho marked the 50th non-conference home game since the start of the 2000 season. Indiana is 37-13 in those contests.
• Indiana's captains were AJ Barner, Devon Matthews, Tiawan Mullen and Jack Tuttle.
• Idaho won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. Indiana received the opening kickoff.
• Three Hoosiers made their first career starts: wide receiver Andison Coby, outside linebacker Dasan McCullough and defensive lineman Beau Robbins.
??• Against Idaho, two true freshmen made their collegiate debut to move the season total to six: running back Jaylin Lucas and offensive lineman Bray Lynch each appeared.
• On the night, one more transfer student-athlete debuted to move the season total to 16 that made their Indiana debut. Kicker Alejandro Quintero made his debut versus Idaho.
• Six Hoosiers made their collegiate debuts and now eight total have debuted in 2022. Tight end Sam Daugstrup, offensive lineman Vinny Fiacable, defensive back Patrick Finley, defensive back Connor Hole, offensive lineman Ricky Tamis and outside linebacker Andrew Turvey each debuted.
• The Hoosiers recorded a safety in the 3rd quarter, the team's first since a win against Maryland during the 2020 season.
• IU had three different players rush for touchdowns (Shaun Shivers, Josh Henderson and Donaven McCulley) for the first time since Idaho in 2021.
• Tonight was the first time since 2021 (Idaho; 35) that IU has scored 35 points in a half.
• Allen is 20-5 when the offense scores 30-plus points in a game.

• Caught his second career touchdown in the third quarter on a 43-yard catch and run. Both career touchdown receptions have come against Idaho.

• Finished with 197 yards passing on 16-of-29 passing with two touchdown passes.
• Recorded his eighth career multi-touchdown game.

• Recorded a career high with three tackles.

• Matched career high with 1.5 tackles-for-loss, which he set last week versus Illinois.

• Made his 31st career start, which leads all Hoosiers.

• Hit a pair of 52-yard punts to tie his career high from his collegiate debut at Iowa in 2021.

• Made his 25th career start, which ranks tied for No. 3 on the team (Devon Matthews).

• Scored his first career touchdown on an 8-yard run in the fourth quarter.
• Set career highs with two receptions for 15 yards. Long reception of 11 yards was alos a career best.

• Recorded the first two tackles of his career

• One of two true freshmen to make collegiate debut on Saturday.

• Caught a 26-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for his second straight game with a receiving score.
• Now has seven career touchdowns, two of which have come at IU.
• Posted consecutive games with touchdown receptions for the second time in his career (2019; at Boston College & versus Alabama State).

• Recorded his third career rushing touchdown with a 4-yard score in the third quarter.
• Caught one pass for a career-high 15 yards.

• Made first career start and logged a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss.
• Had a solo sack in the second quarter and logged combined sacks in the second and third quarters.
