ADIDAS BASKETBALL JERSEYS WITH CURRENT PLAYERS NAMES, NUMBERS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

Bloomington, Ind. – Hoosier fans can now purchase adidas basketball jerseys with the names and numbers of many of their favorite current IU men's and women's basketball players.
These adidas jerseys are available for purchase at Hoosier Team Store locations inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, and at the Carmichael Center immediately across from the Indiana University Sample Gates on Indiana Avenue. They are also available for purchase via the Hoosier Team Store's on-line shop.
This new, exciting apparel offering stems from a group licensing agreement between members of the Hoosier basketball programs and The Brandr Group, a brand management, marketing and licensing agency that partners with IU student-athletes to support their efforts to maximize their Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities. Members of each program who voluntarily opted into the agreement will receive a portion of the sale of each jersey that features their name and number.
"From the outset, we have been outspoken advocates for our student-athletes in their effort to maximize their NIL opportunities, and this is an exciting next step for both of our basketball programs," said IU Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Dolson. "I expect this to be extremely well received by our basketball fans, who are as passionate about supporting our student-athletes as any fanbase in the country."
The Hoosier Team Store first introduced IU player-specific jerseys in the fall for IU Football. Hoosier football fans can continue to look forward to the opportunity to purchase adidas football jerseys with their favorite current Hoosier players courtesy an identical arrangement with members of Coach Tom Allen's football program. A new assortment of player-specific IU Football jerseys will be available in advance of the 2023 IU Football season.
In addition to the opportunity to purchase jerseys with the names and numbers of current IU players, in the coming weeks, fans will have the option to create personalized jerseys with their own name and preferred number. This option will be available at the Hoosier Team Store's retail and on-line locations.
