• Iowa (9-6, 1-3) defeated No. 15/19 Indiana (10-4, 1-2), 91-89, on Thursday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
• Indiana shot 54.2% (32-of-59) from the field and a season-best 53.3% (8-of-15) from the 3-point line.
• The Hoosiers scored 48 points in the paint.
• Indiana scored 21 of its baskets off assists.
• Indiana's defense forced 12 Iowa turnovers and scored 12 points from the takeaways.
• Indiana got 15 points from its bench.
• Indiana will be back home for its next game as the Hoosiers host Northwestern on Sunday, Jan. 8 at noon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Senior Trayce Jackson-Davis had a team-high 30 points along with nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks. His 30 points tied his season-high for points scored in a game, he did it the first time in the win at Xavier on Nov. 18, 2022.
• This was the eighth game of Jackson-Davis' career where he scored 30+ points.
• Freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino had a career-high in points, assists, 3-point field goals made and minutes played. Hood-Schifino scored 21 points, had nine assists, made 3-point field goals and played 37 minutes.
• Hood-Schifino has scored in double-figures in five consecutive games.
• Sixth-year senior Race Thompson had nine points on 4-of-4 shooting and had three rebounds.
• Junior Jordan Geronimo recorded nine points, five rebounds and two blocks.
• Sophomore Tamar Bates had eight points and four assists in his first career start.
• Fifth-year senior Miller Kopp had six points and two steals while tying his career-high in rebounds with nine.
• Junior Trey Galloway accounted for six points on the night.
• Freshman Malik Reneau notched a steal in six minutes of run.
