• Northwestern (12-3, 3-1) defeated No. 15/19 Indiana (10-5, 1-3) 84-83, on Sunday afternoon in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Indiana shot 51.6% (32-of-62) from the field and 50% (9-of-18) from the 3-point line.
• Indiana scored 38 points in the paint.
• The Hoosiers got 18 points from its bench.
• IU scored 14 baskets off its assists.
• Indiana will head east for its next contest as IU will play at Penn State on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center.
• Freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino had a career-high 33 points with three rebounds and three assists. Hood-Schifino was 12-of-17 from the field and 5-of-7 from the 3-point line.
• His 33 points were the most scored by an Indiana freshman since Eric Gordon had 33 on Nov. 12, 2007 against Chattanooga.
• Senior Trayce Jackson-Davis had 18 points, a career-high 24 rebounds, eight assists and four blocks.
• The 24 rebounds were the most by a Hoosier in a single game since Steve Downing had 25 against Kentucky on December 11, 1971.
• That mark was also the most rebounds by a Big Ten player since Aaron Johnson had 24 for Penn State on Nov. 15, 2004.
• With Jackson-Davis' performance, he is now fifth on the program's all-time rebounding list with 912.
• Sophomore Tamar Bates accounted for nine points, two rebounds and a block.
• Junior Trey Galloway had eight points, a rebound or a steal.
• Freshman Malik Reneau recorded eight points, three rebounds and a steal.
• Fifth-year senior Miller Kopp had five points, two rebounds and two assists.
• Freshman CJ Gunn notched two points and a rebound.
