
Indiana Field Hockey Drops Game at Ball State in Penalty Shootouts

MUNCIE, Ind. ––– It was a battle to the end between Indiana and Ball State with the two teams going the distance into penalty shootouts before Ball State ultimately came away with a 3-2 win.
Through regulation, the game was knotted at 2-2. Neither team could find the back of the cage in either overtime period, forcing shootouts. Ball State would win the shootout, edging the Hoosiers 3-2 in converted shots.
With the loss, Indiana's season record drops to 5-10.

• Ball State took an early lead from Maya Guinn's goal in the 8th minute of the game.
