Indiana Men’s Tennis Concludes Play at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ––––– The Indiana Men's Tennis team was in action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships over the weekend.

The Hoosiers were represented by Nishanth Badavareddy, Luc Boulier, Sam Landau, Deacon Thomas, Ilya Tiraspolsky, and Jagger Saylor. Sam Landau did not compete in the singles event.

In the singles event, sophomore Deacon Thomas secured a win in the opening round, topping Butler's Nicolas Arts, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) .

Sophomore Sam Landau and senior Ilya Tiraspolsky put together a strong performance in the doubles event. Landau/Tiraspolsky advanced to the quarterfinals by securing a win against IUPUI's Steven Paz and Noah Viste, 8-3.

The doubles team of Boulier/Saylor also had a solid performance in the event. Boulier/Saylor won their second match in the round of 32 against Igor Mandou Berranger and Karim Al-Amin (MTSU), 8-5.
