Indiana Long Jumper Fernandez-Sola to Compete in Pan American Games

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana graduate long jumper Paola Fernandez-Sola is set to compete in the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
41 countries will participate in the Pan Am games began on Friday, Oct. 20 with the closing ceremony on Nov. 5.
Fernandez-Sola will represent Puerto Rico in the long jump competition on Monday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. ET.
Each athlete will receive three jumps in the semifinals with the top-nine earning an additional three more attempts in the finals.
