
Indiana Totals 15 Team Blocks to Beat Michigan in Regular Season Finale

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Led by seven blocks from senior middle blocker Savannah Kjolhede, the Indiana volleyball team (21-12, 11-9) tallied 15 total team blocks in a 3-1 win over Michigan (25-19, 25-21, 18-25, 25-23) on Saturday night at Cliff Keen Arena.
IU's win over Michigan was the 21st victory of the season, matching a program record for regular season wins (2010) since the NCAA and Big Ten began sponsoring volleyball in 1981.
The Hoosiers finished in a tie for sixth in the Big Ten, their highest finish in the conference since it expanded to 14 teams. The 11 wins in Big Ten play are the most since 1999 and tied for the second most in program history.
Junior setter Camryn Haworth recorded 47 assists across four sets while senior outside hitter Morgan Geddes went for a team-high 11 kills, one of three players in double figures for the Hoosiers. Freshman libero Ramsey Gary tallied 14 digs to break IU's single season digs record (530).

#10 Haworth, Camryn
• The Fishers, Ind. dished out 47 assists in just four sets, helping three players to 10+ kills on the night. She added three digs, two kills and three blocks in an all-around effort.
• She tallied her 73rd service ace of the season, the second most in a single season in program history and the most during the rally-scoring era. She is one of six Big Ten players, during the rally era, to tally 70+ service aces in a single season.
• Haworth now has 2,862 assists (No. 8 in IU history) and 164 service aces (No. 2 in IU history) with a much-anticipated senior season ahead of her in 2024.
#15 Kjolhede, Savannah
• One of IU's most consistent players over the past four years, Kjolhede supplied 10 kills and seven blocks in perhaps her last game for the program.
• She is now a career .300 hitter, one of four players in program history to achieve the mark with at least 1,000 career attempts.
• Kjolhede is one of just three players in program history to hit .300 in their career while also totaling 380+ blocks for the Hoosiers.
#32 Gary, Ramsey
• Battling an illness, the freshman libero tallied on 14 digs to break the program's single-season digs record. Already in possession of the freshman record, Gary improved her total to 530 on the year to cap off the best single season for a libero in program history.

• IU came out firing offensively, hitting .344 (14-3-32) in the first game with Haworth dishing out 12 assists and sophomore opposite hitter Avry Tatum terminating on five kills.
• The Hoosiers blocked three shots in the frame with Kjolhede involved in all three. Haworth recorded an ace as the visitors took an early advantage.
• Tied 15-all in the opening game, IU closed on a 10-4 run behind a massive run of serve from Tatum. Senior Grae Gosnell chipped in two kills during the run before Kjolhede closed out the set on an overpass kill.

• IU once again struggled to put its opponent away in three sets, totaling 13 errors in game three including nine attacking errors.
• Kendall Murray and Jacque Boney went for seven kills on 13 errorless swings in the frame as the Wolverines surged ahead behind the outstanding serve of Hannah Grant.
• Michigan never relinquished the lead after going up 10-9, closing on a 16-9 run to send the match to a fourth set in Ann Arbor.

• The Hoosiers received some timely defensive plays down the stretch in the fourth to prevent Saturday's match from going the distance.
• IU blocked seven shots in the fourth game with Rammelsberg tallying two solo blocks and two block assists. Sophomore outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles went for four kills.
• Despite missing five serves and relinquishing a seven-point lead, IU hung on to win the match in four sets with a kill from Geddes and a block from Rammelsberg sealing the deal.
