IUWS Welcomes Graduate Transfer Avery Snead

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer announces the signing of graduate transfer Avery Snead.
Snead will join the Hoosiers after playing four years at Providence College. The midfielder started in all 69 matches in her four-year career.
A native of Wrentham, Mass., native scored six goals, one assist and 13 points in her career with the Friars. She held a .525 shots on goal percentage with four game-winning goals to finish her career at Providence.
She was named to the All-BIG East Second Team in 2023. Snead earned All-BIG East All-Freshman Team honors in 2020 and Second Team Honors in 2022. More recently, she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Third Team. Snead is a two-time NEWISA All-New England Second Team honoree.
Snead is set to graduate this spring with a bachelor's degree in marketing and will join the Hoosiers in the fall of 2024.
