Webber Named USC Scholar All-America Third Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer graduate forward Paige Webber earned United Soccer Coaches (USC) Scholar All-American third-team honors, the organization released on Friday.
She is the first Hoosier to be named a Scholar All-American.
The student-athletes named to the Scholar All-America lists have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.40 during their career, play a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season while being an elite player.
Webber had an outstanding final season with the Hoosiers after earning All-Big Ten First Team honors. She scored 12 goals, four assists with 28 points as she helped lead the Hoosiers to their first NCAA tournament appearance. The Grand Blanc, Mich., native was also named to the USC All-North Region Second Team, NCAA Player of the Week, Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and a spot on TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week.
Webber graduated on Friday (Dec. 15) with her bachelor's degree in human biology with a 3.79 GPA. In her three years at IU, she was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten, a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree and a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.
With her time at IU ending, Webber will look to continue her soccer career at the professional level as she heads to the NWSL draft in January.
