Indiana Women’s Tennis Signs Five Star Recruit Marina Fuduric

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis program and head coach Ramiro Azcui signs five-star recruit Marina Fuduric for the 2024 class.
A native of Lima, Ohio, Fuduric reached as high as 46 on Tennis Recruiting and is also ranked No. 1 in the state of Ohio in the class of 2024.
"We are very excited to have Marina joining us next fall," Azcui said. "She plays a very aggressive game style with several weapons that she can build her game around. She has had lots of success at the junior level, and we know her game will continue to flourish here in Bloomington. We can't wait to get started with her."
Fuduric plays at the Smith Sterns Tennis Academy which is led by Stan Smith and BJ Stearns located on Hilton Head Island, S.C. It is known for its elite year-round development programs.
She placed fourth in the G16's National Clay Court Championship doubles competition, was a doubles finalist at the J60 Boca Raton ITF, a G18s L3 National Tournament Champion in Singles and was a singles finalist in the L2 National Tournament. Most recently, Fuduric was a G18 doubles finalist at the All-State Sugar Bowl.
Fuduric will graduate from Laurel Springs School in Ohio and plans to major in Business.
What are you most looking forward to at IU?
I am looking forward to furthering my tennis game to the best it can get and getting a great degree on the side. I want to try professional tennis after the experience I get playing tennis at IU.
