• Maryland (15-7, 6-5) defeated No. 21/22 Indiana (15-7, 6-5), 66-55, on Tuesday night at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Md.
• Indiana's defense forced Maryland to shoot 34.0% (18-of-53) from the field and 22.7% (5-of-22) from the 3-point line.
• Indiana outrebounded Maryland, 40-33.
• Indiana had 10 points from second-chance opportunities.
• Indiana will be back in Bloomington for its next game as it hosts archrival and No. 1/1 Purdue on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on ESPN.
• Senior Trayce Jackson-Davis had 18 points, 20 rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal.
• This was Jackson-Davis' 43rd career double-double, tying Steve Downing for fourth in the program's all-time double-double leaders.
• After tonight's performance, Jackson-Davis surpassed 1,000 career rebounds. He is the fourth Hoosier in program history to achieve the feat.
