A quick look at the 2023 season so far:
Â
Athletes
Antonio Laidler
Season Bests:
60m: 6.68, 200m: 21.01
Â
Following in the footsteps of All-American sprinter Rikkoi Brathwaite, Antonio Laidler has enjoyed a breakout campaign that has him projected to score big points at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.
Â
He holds the third-fastest time in program history at both 60 meters (6.68) and 200 meters (21.01), both run at the Windy City Invite a week ago.
Â
Laidler ranks third in the Big Ten in the 60 meters and fifth at 200 meters. He also has the potential to run a leg on IU's 4x400 relay team.
Â
The Florida native holds great value to the IU Men's Track and Field team that is looking to score a top-five finish at the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships for the seventh-consecutive season.

Alyssa Robinson
Season Bests
60m: 7.50, 200m: 23.84, 300m: 38.08, 400m: 55.19

Â
She opened her season by beating her own school record at 300 meters with a mark of 38.08. Her personal best time of 23.84, run in late January, sits third all-time in program history.
Â
For her career, she sits top-10 all-time in program history indoors across four different events (60m, 200m, 300m and 400m).
Â
She is expected to run the 400-meter leg for IU's Distance Medley Relay team and has enough versatility to score at the conference meet.
