Indiana Men’s Tennis Defeats Xavier for a 2-0 Sunday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– The Hoosiers swept Xavier 4-0 in the second match of Indiana's double-header on Sunday.
The team won the doubles point with a clutch win coming from No. 1 doubles duo Patrick Fletchall and Jagger Saylor to give the team momentum heading into singles play.
IU's Sam Landau, Saylor, and Fletchall each won their singles match to give Indiana the victory over Xavier.
Landau got the ball rolling with a clean, 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles. Fletchall went the distance in his first set, taking it in tiebreakers before winning the second set, 6-3, to take the win. Saylor closed the deal at No. 4 singles winning in straight sets.
IU moves to 6-1 on the season after today's win, and will look to continue the hot streak next week on Sunday, Feb. 12 when the Hoosiers host Southern Indiana for a double-header.
