BIG TEN WEEKEND RECAP
As the countdown to the postseason continues in the indoor season, the race to find top form ahead of the Big Ten Indoor Championships intensifies in collegiate track and field.
There are just two weekends remaining before the Midwest's best talent convenes on Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio for the Big Ten Championships.
The Hoosiers will race one final big weekend on February 10 and 11 with split squads at the Windy City Invite in Chicago and the Hoosier Hills meet in Bloomington.
One final last chance meet will take place in South Bend on February 18th where IU's top Distance Medley Relay teams, among other schools, would be expected to compete.
The Hoosiers have been aided by deep and talented groups in the Women's Long Jump and Men's Weight Throw which sit third and seventh respectively in the USTFCCCA's newest event squad rankings.
In the USTFCCCA's initial Conference TFRI, which calculates rankings based off of to-date performances, the Hoosiers rank fifth on the men's side and eighth on the women's side in the Big Ten.
