• No. 15/13 Indiana (21-10, 12-8) defeated Michigan (17-14, 11-9), 75-73, in the final regular season game on Sunday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Indiana honored five seniors as part of the annual Senior Day festivities, including sixth-year senior forward Race Thompson, fifth-year senior forward Miller Kopp, senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis, senior forward Nathan Childress, and senior guard Michael Shipp. This was the program's 50th edition of senior speeches. The basketball program also recognized four senior managers: Tommy McLaughlin, Graysen Medina, Nate Mertz and Bennett Munds.
• Indiana has defeated Michigan in its last three meetings.
• The team's 12 conference wins are its most since the 2015-16 season when the team went 15-3 in Big Ten play.
• Indiana head coach Mike Woodson and Michigan head coach Juwan Howard are two of the eight current head coaches in college basketball to have played in the NBA and returned to lead their respective alma maters.
