CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team struggled in the opening round of the Chattanooga Classic with a team-score of 325 (+37) at the Council Fire Golf Club on Sunday. Indiana is 18th in the team standings with 36 holes to play.

• Filling in for fifth-year senior Alexis Florio (illness), sophomore Margaret Fernandez carded an 11-over 83. She posted a birdie on No. 9.
• Senior Valerie Clancy and sophomore Beatriz Junqueira each played scorecards of 14-over 86.
