CHANGES FOR THE 2023-24 GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE AT SIMON SKJODT ASSEMBLY HALL!
All games are ticketed events - While regular season reserved season tickets are sold out, general admission season tickets still remain as well as single game general admission tickets.
Changing in parking in lots around Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall - We look forward to welcoming you to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall for the 2023-24 IU Women’s Basketball season! With the season set to begin Wednesday, Nov. 1, with the 7 p.m. exhibition game against Northwood, we want to remind you about several parking changes for the upcoming season.
In response to an outpouring of requests from IU Women’s Basketball fans, we are offering a Reserved Parking option this year. This option is available in Lots 2, 4, and 12 (see parking map here). A Reserved Season Parking pass (16 games) is $80, while Single-Game passes are $5. Lot 2 is already sold out for the season, but availability remains in Lots 4 and 12. Fans can purchase season or single game passes to Lots 4 and 12 below or, if availability remains, at the gate on gameday.
Free parking will be available throughout the year in Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11. ADA parking meanwhile, can be accessed through Gate 13.
Enhanced fan experience opportunity – The large majority of seating at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall will remain general admission for the 2023-24 IU Women’s Basketball regular season. But this new option provides fans with a reserved seating opportunity to consider. Fans can choose this premium option to guarantee their seat location and/or their opportunity to seat with a group.
Seat selection will be determined based on the IU Priority Point system
In line with what other Big Ten Women’s Basketball programs offer – Every other Big Ten school has either a portion or all their arena designated for reserved seating for women’s basketball games. With an average home attendance that has more than doubled in the last three years and ranks third in the Big Ten, the time was right to add this option for our fans.
We want to give you what you ask for! – The most common inquiry we received during the 2022-23 season was about the opportunity to purchase reserved seats to IU Women’s Basketball games during upcoming seasons.

FAQ
Why are we doing this?
The most common inquiry we received during the 2022-23 season was about the opportunity to purchase reserved seats to IU Women’s Basketball games during upcoming seasons. This will give fans the opportunity to do so but also have areas dedicated to general admission seating.
Who else has reserved seating?
All other Big Ten schools have at least a portion, if not all, of their arena designated for reserved seating.
How did you decide on what areas to make reserved?
Sections A-F and G-M, Row 31 and below was selected to ensure individuals can take advantage of the new reserved seating option in premium seating locations. With court level bleacher seating remaining general admission for the 2023-24 season, fans can still secure premium seating spots with a general admission ticket on a first-come, first-served basis as well.
Will we re-seat on an annual basis similar to men’s basketball?
- We do not plan to re-seat the reserved seating area on an annual basis like men’s basketball, but will follow a model similar to football where we re-seat every four years
