
Indiana Women’s Golf Adds Transfer Maddie May

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Women's Golf head coach Brian May announced the addition of transfer Maddie May to the Hoosiers on Tuesday.

Ole Miss
May joins Indiana after two seasons with Ole Miss.
She played in three tournaments during her freshman season in 2021-22, and recorded a 78.57 stroke average. May played in the Lady Bulldog Invitational, Auburn Tiger Invitational and Gators Invitational.
She earned her career-best finish at the Auburn Tiger Invitational when she shot a career-best round of 70 (-2) during round two of the tournament to tie for 11th place on the leaderboard.
Prior to Ole Miss, May was a standout at her high school of Saint Andrews College in New Zealand. She was the captain of the team for three years and led them to two Regional Championships in 2019 and 2020.
She was a member of the Canterbury Golf Development Squad from 2017-2021 while also playing on the New Zealand Golf Junior Training Squad since 2019, where she served as the captain for three years.
May also won the 2019 Canterbury Golf Order of Merit Women's Championship along with becoming the Canterbury Secondary Schools mixed champion in 2019. She earned a pair fo third-place finishes at the 2019 and 2020 New Zealand U19 Championships.
May is majoring in accountancy. She is the daughter of Paula Holt and Tim May and has two brothers, Zach and Sebastian.
