Indiana Women’s Tennis Receives ITA Regional Rankings

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their team and individual rankings with Indiana ranked fifth in the Ohio Valley Region. Redshirt sophomore Lara Schneider picked up individual honors as she ranked No. 14 in singles and No. 8 in doubles alongside graduate student Saby Nihalani.
Schneider finished the season with a 12-4 overall record in the No. 1 singles spot. She competed at No. 1 singles in every match this season for the Hoosiers, holding a 5-2 singles record in the Big Ten.
In doubles, Schneider and Nihalani finished the season with a 10-7 overall record in No. 1 doubles. The dup held a win streak of six straight matches. Individually, Nihalani held a 10-6 overall record in the No. 2 singles slot.
