
Indiana Women’s Tennis’ 2023 Recruiting Class Ranked No. 25 Nationally

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis program and head coach Ramiro Azcui will welcome five newcomers in the Fall of 2023. This group ranks No. 25 in the country for the 2023 tennis recruiting classes, according to The Tennis Recruiting Network.
The six signees hail from four different countries and two states: Canada, Norway, Poland, Taiwan, Maryland and Indiana.
2023 Signees:
Elizabeth Dunac
Dunac is ranked No. 1 in the state of Maryland and No. 31 nationally in the class of 2023, according to TennisRecruiting.net. She reached the round of 16 in the girls U16 singles at the USTA National Hard-Court Championships this past summer in San Diego, Calif. Dunac will graduate from Laurel Springs High School in the Spring.
Sarah L'allier
L'allier has won 3 ITF titles in the last year. She also was crowned the u18 National doubles champion. L'allier has 10 provincial titles. Her best Canadian singles ranking is third. L'allier's best doubles ranking comes in at fourth in the country.
Li Hsin Lin
Li Hsin Lin is ranked top-10 in the Taiwanese junior tennis rankings. She finished runner-up in singles and doubles at the Junior ITF Grade 5 event. She has played in four professional 15k events in the past year accumulating four ITF Women's ranking points.
Lene Mari Hovda
Hovda is originally from Norway and comes to Bloomington after playing four years at Saint Mary's College. This spring, Hovda played at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles for the Gaels. She recorded a 15-8 mark in singles and went 19-8 in doubles this spring. She has a Norwegian Women's National Singles Championship in her career accolades.
Magdalena Swierczynska
Swierczynska enters her collegiate career with an ITF ranking of No. 132 with extensive international playing experience on both the junior ITF tour and ITF Women's Tour. She has eight total WTA points to her name.
Chase Boyer
Boyer is considered a four-star recruit nationally and is the No. 2-ranked recruit from the state of Indiana by Tennisrecruiting.net. She will graduate of Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville.
