Thirteen Hoosiers Named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– Thirteen Hoosiers were recognized as 2022-23 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes when the awards were announced on Wednesday.

In order to qualify for the award, a student-athlete has to maintain at least a 3.5 GPA throughout the entire academic year.

The following Indiana players earned the national distinction:

Cora Bassett
Brooke Benson
Brianna Copeland
Desiree Dufek
Chloe Geijer
Tatum Hayes
Heather Johnson
Sophie Kleiman
Macy Montgomery
Avery Parker
Elle Smith
Lindsey Warick

As a team, the Hoosiers had an excellent year in the classroom in addition to an outstanding year on the field.

The team's cumulative GPA for the 2022-2023 school year was 3.477.

Indiana's 2023 season featured a 44-18 record, a Big Ten Championship appearance and reaching the final round of the NCAA Regional in Knoxville, Tenn.
