BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Second-year head women's golf coach Brian May announced the Indiana 2023-24 schedule on Thursday morning. The slate includes 10 regular season tournaments, with five coming in both the fall and spring portions of the calendar.
"We are excited to get going this fall," said May. "We have changed some things up in our schedule and will be playing more golf early in the season than in years past. We have a hungry group of players including six new faces. They are extremely competitive and ready to take on the challenge this season!"
The Hoosiers will maintain a busy month of September with three tournaments to kick off the fall slate. IU will open the year at the Purdue Boilermaker Classic from Sept. 4-5 at the Kampen Course in West Lafayette. Indiana will continue the northern trek with a three-day tournament in Madison, Wis. at the Wisconsin Badger Invitational from Sept. 17-19 before closing the month at the Class City Invitational at the Iverness Club from Sept. 25-26 in Toledo, Ohio.
The fall season will conclude with a pair of callback tournaments with the Evie Odom Invitational from Oct. 6-8 at the Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va., and The Ally Invitational from Oct. 23-25 at the Old Waverly Golf Club in Starkville, Miss.
The spring slate opens with a dual match against border-rival Louisville at the Pelican Bay Golf Club in Naples, Fla. on Jan. 16. The February slate features the FAU Paradise Invitational (Feb. 5-6) at the Osprey Ridge Golf Club in Naples, Fla., and the Houston ICON Invitational (Feb. 26-27) at the Golf Club of Houston.
Indiana will see one event, the Florida State Match-Up, in the month of March. The team will take on the Seminole Legacy Club from March 15-17 in Tallahassee, Fla. From there, IU will head east for the Lady Buckeye Invitational from April 13-14 on the Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
Postseason play will begin with the Big Ten Championships at the Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre De Grace, Md. from April 21-23. The NCAA Regionals will be held from May 6-8 before the NCAA Finals from May 14-22 at La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.
