Hoosiers Have a Field Day in Louisville, Collect Four Podium Finishes

LOUISVILLE, Kent. – The Hoosiers had themselves a field day in Louisville at the Norton Healthcare Sport and Learning Center after claiming four podium finishes.
Jessica Mercier earned the first one of the days in the pole vault. She cleared a height of 4.18m/13-08.50 to place second in the women's seeded pole vault to land a top-three finish for the third week in a row.
Mahogany Jenkins cleared a new height of 1.74m/5-08.50 this season in the high jump.
The Hoosiers went second and third in the Long Jump for their final event of the day. Paola Fernandez-Sola finished second with a mark of 6.19m/20-03.75 while Serena Bolden achieved a distance of 5.96m/19-06.75 to finish third.
Up next, the men will compete in the pole vault and high jump tomorrow. Bolden and Jenkins will also look improve their marks in the Triple Jump on the final day of the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational.
