• Indiana (13-8, 5-5) defeated Iowa (12-9, 4-6), 74-68, Tuesday night in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Indiana held Iowa to 23-of-65 (35.4%) shooting and 6-of-22 (27.3%) from beyond the arc.
• Indiana shot 26-of-57 (45.6%) from the field and outscored Iowa, 32-24, in points in the paint.
Indiana outscored Iowa 20-4 in bench points.
• Sophomore center Kel'el Ware recorded his eighth-career double-double, scoring 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting while adding 10 rebounds, three blocks and two assists.
• Senior guard Anthony Leal scored a career-high 13 points, shooting 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Leal also recorded a career-high seven rebounds, one assist and one block.
• Freshman forward Mackenzie Mgbako notched 11 points, three rebounds and two assists.
• Sixth-year senior guard Xavier Johnson recorded nine points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.
• Senior guard Trey Galloway chipped in nine points on 3-of-4 shooting from the charity stripe and added a career high seven rebounds, four assists and two steals.
• Fifth-year senior guard Anthony Walker scored four points and added four rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
• Freshman guard Gabe Cupps scored three points on the go-ahead basket with 1:26 left in the game. Cupps also contributed two assists and one rebound.
• Sophomore forward Malik Reneau had two points, one assist and one block in 3 minutes of run.
• Junior forward Peyton Sparks recorded one block and one rebound in five minutes of gametime.
Sophomore guard CJ Gunn had two rebounds.
