Opening Tip
• Indiana University hits the road for a Big Ten Conference matchup at Rutgers as the program carries on during its 124th season of competition in men's basketball. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Peacock.
• The Scarlet Knights (12-2, 2-1) have three players averaging at least 10 points per game in senior forward Aundre Hyatt (11.9 points per game), senior center Clifford Omoruyi (10.7), and senior forward Mawot Mag (10.3).
• The game will feature two of the six players in the Big Ten that collect at least 8.5 rebounds per game. Omoruyi pulls down 8.9 rebounds per outing for Rutgers, the fourth-highest figure in the B1G. Sophomore center Kel'el Ware is fifth at 8.8 boards per night.

• The two programs have met 16 total times on the hardwood with each team earning eight wins in the series. Both teams protected home court last season with Rutgers winning 63-48 on Dec. 3 before Indiana won 66-60 on Feb. 7.
• The Hoosiers are looking to secures its first win in Piscataway since Feb. 5, 2018. Juwan Morgan scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field in IU's 65-43 win at The RAC.
Last Time Out
• Sophomore forward Malik Reneau paced the Hoosiers with a game-high 23 points and seven rebounds in a 71-65 victory over Ohio State at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Jan. 6. The game marked the third 20-point game for Reneau in his last four outings. He is averaging 24.0 points per game during that stretch.
• Sixth-year guard Xavier Johnson, playing his first extended minutes since returning from his seven-game absence, posted 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 33 minutes.

• Sophomore forward Malik Reneau has posted double digits in the scoring column in 14 games this season, including 11 efforts of at least 14 points. He notched a career-high 34 points against Kennesaw State (Dec. 29).
• Over the final two non-conference games, Reneau averaged 29.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists on 23-of-33 (69.7%) shooting from the floor, 5-of-7 (71.4%) from the 3-point line, and 8-of-12 (66.7%) from the charity stripe.
• Reneau is averaging a team-best 16.5 points per game to go along with 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 0.9 blocks in 29 minutes per game. He is shooting 59.1% (97-of-164) from the floor, 47.8% (11-of-23) from the 3-point line, and 68.3% (43-of-63) from the free throw line.

• The Hoosier defense held Ohio State to 7-of-27 (25.9%) shooting from the 3-point line. The Buckeyes entered the game making 8.5 3-pointers per game at a 38.0% clip.
