Indiana Concludes Competition in ITA Regional Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Indiana women's tennis wrapped up play in the ITA Regional Championships this weekend hosted by Memphis.

All nine Hoosiers competed in ITA Regionals as freshman Nicole Sifuentes was the first to qualify for the main draw after winning back-to-back matches.

Both Nicole Sifuentes and Junior Nicole Teodosescu were victorious in the first round of the singles main draw before falling in the second round.

Freshman Marina Fuduric won three matches in the consolation bracket. Sophomore Elisabeth Dunac had a singles win in the consolation bracket as well.

In doubles, Schneider/Teodosescu advanced past round one of doubles before falling in round two. Dunac/Sifuentes advanced through rounds one and two of doubles before falling in the third round.
