TEAM
• Indiana is 3-1 all-time against Washington.
• Indiana starts a season 8-0 for the second time in program history (1967). IU also started the 1945 season at 7-0-1.
• The 5-0 start in Big Ten play marks the second time in program history an Indiana team started with an unblemished mark through five conference games (5-0, 1967).
• With his eighth win in 2024, head coach Curt Cignetti ties James M. Sheldon (8; 1905) for most wins by a first-year IU head coach.
• The eight-game winning streak is the longest streak in program history, tied with the 1945 and 1967 seasons. It is the longest streak to start a season since the 1967 squad went 8-0.
• Through Week 9, Indiana remains the only FBS program to not allow a first quarter point in 2024.
• Indiana's game captains were: DL James Carpenter, RB Justice Ellison, OL Mike Katic
• Indiana won the coin toss and deferred the opening kickoff. Washignton received the opening kick.
• The crowd of 53,082 tied for the fourth-largest crowd in program history with the Week 8 crowd versus Nebraska. It's the largest crowd since Nov. 17, 1979 (53,202).
• With its double-digit win, Indiana extended its longest streak of double-digit wins in program history to eight-straight games.
• The 30 rushing touchdowns are the most in a season since 2000 (33; 12 games).
• Indiana's 19-play scoring drive to end the first half is the longest scoring drive in terms of plays ??since at least 2005.
• The Hoosiers didn't allow a tackle for loss for the first time since 2013 versus Navy and just the second time since at least 2005.
• With 31:27 in time of possession, Indiana held the edge in TOP for the seventh time in eight games.

• Connected with Tayven Jackson on a 42-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter.

• Rushed for 123 yards and one score to mark seven consecutive weeks with a touchdown The last Hoosier with seven-straight weeks is Tevin Coleman in 2014 (Week 1, 3-7), which was part of a 15-game streak that spanned the 2013-14 seasons.

• Pinned one punt inside the 10-yard line for his 22nd career punt downed inside the opponents 10-yard line.
Isaiah Jones | LB | R-So.
• Tied a career-high six tackles. He has reached the mark two other times, with the last coming against Charlotte in Week 4 (9/21).
Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Jr.
• Owns at least one tackle in all 31 career appearances.
• Has at least a half a tackle for loss in 28 of 31 career games.
Mario Landino | DL | Fr.
• Had his first career sack when he and Tyrique Tucker brought down Will Rogers for a 7-yard loss in the third quarter.
D'Angelo Ponds | CB | So.
• Had a career-high two interceptions and is the first Hoosier to record two interceptions in a Big Ten game since Jamar Johnson at Ohio State (2; 2020).
• Intercepted Will Rogers and scored on a 65-yard return. It was the longest interception return for a touchdown since Jameel Cook Jr. took one for 96 yards against FIU in 2015.
• Had his second interception of the day when he picked off Rogers at the Washington 46-yard line in the second quarter.
Myles Price | WR | Sr.+
• Had a career-long punt return when he took a punt 65 yards to get the ball to the Washington 14-yardline in the fourth quarter to set up a 2-yard Tayven Jackson touchdown run and put Indiana up 31-14.
Nicolas Radicic | K | R-Fr.
• With 51 made extra points made on the season, trails only Griffin Oakes (53; 2015) and Mitch Ewald (56; 2013). His 4-for-4 effort today passed Austin Starr (48; 2007).
Elijah Sarratt | WR | Jr.
• Moved his consecutive games with a catch streak to 33-straight games on his 12-yard reception in the first quarter.
