BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– As Indiana Football's Week 10 matchup at Michigan State on Saturday (November 2) approaches, sophomores D'Angelo Ponds and Tyrique Tucker and senior Trey Wedig addressed the media inside the Don Croftcheck Football Team Room on Tuesday (October 29).

D'Angelo Ponds | DB | So.
On how involved Curt Cignetti is with the secondary...
DP: He just teaches us the fundamentals and not letting us get too high or too low. He's mostly focused on the offense but he's definitely there for us when it's needed.
On Coach watching 80 hours of film...
DP: He definitely watches a lot of film, and you can tell by just talking to him. He's a film junkie. He doesn't really talk too much but he's definitely a film junkie.
On proving he can play on this level after JMU...
DP: It means a lot to be able to play on this level, but we aren't satisfied yet. We're not done. I've seen what people were saying about us in the beginning of the year and we're not satisfied. We're not finished yet.
Tyrique Tucker | DL | R-So.
On the difference of the fans between Week 1 to the present...
TT: It's been night and day. First week, first game, it wasn't that packed, and now it's packed. We feel that energy. Every game, we feel that, and we respond to that every game. Every time I'm out there and I hear the fans, I try to get them more involved, because I respond to that, and we all do I think; as a unit, as a group, and we play harder because of that.
On him and the other former James Madison players proving themselves at the Big Ten level...
TT: It means everything, I am just blessed to be in this position, and I've just got to keep going. But, in terms of all of us, we are all a tight knit group. We all just believe that we can win, and we did that at JMU, and we still believe it here. And the culture is just, from here to JMU, we just want to go out there and win and prove it to the world just like we always do. We always have that chip on our shoulder, and we always strive for more. We're always hungrier to just get out there and get it done. So, you know, we are never satisfied. We just win, and we keep doing it. Like this week, we're back onto it. You've got to redo it, rinse and repeat, every week.
On being knowledgeable with the history of Indiana football before he transferred...
TT: I was exposed to it, because I didn't know. Everyone told me it wasn't the best, but I wasn't affected by it. I knew what we can do here, and I believed in it. I believed in the coaching staff, just like they believe in me. It's just our job to go out there and put it on film, and let the world see it, and control what you can control.
Trey Wedig | OL | R-Sr.
On how important Coach (Bob) Bostad is to the group…
TW: He means a lot to this group. He really gets us going and gives us the kick we need when we need it.
On running the ball against Washington…
TW: Yeah, I like running the ball. It's fun. But I think the key to success was that all five of us were playing hard and playing as physical as we could. We were on target, and that made it possible to do that.
On the chemistry of the offensive line…
TW: We hang out a lot as an O-line. We do things like O-line meals to mesh together as a group. Things like that help us get going, and we've gotten really close as a group.
